Watch Wild Life

Wild Life is a one-hour documentary featuring the strange animals that exist on “The Great Bridge.” The Great Bridge is defined as the strip of land that connects the North American and South American continents. It is also known as the Isthmus of Panama and extends approximately 400 miles to separate the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans.

Each episode introduces an area of the bridge by providing breathtaking panoramic views of hot lava volcanoes, steep mountains, and luscious waterfalls. One episode discussed how deserted volcano rock became the Caribbean destination for castaway animals such as crab, sea turtles, reptiles, and birds.

After the land is introduced, close-up shots of the animals are shown that inhabit the area. For instance, sleeping frogs awakening to start their day and miniature jaguar moms wrangling her offspring before she begins her hunt, are displayed.

Opportunities to learn are endless. The grayish-brown colored bird, the Brown Booby, lives on volcanic rock because she doesn’t require a tree to build a nest or to lay eggs. This bird is usually silent and doesn’t rank high on the predator’s list.

Each week introduces a new area and a new set of animals.
